Hola, yo soy Edadías y yo soy de pueblo, católico y gay. Comence este proyecto en el 2018 porque tenia muchísimas ganas de practicar de mí. Yo soy muchísimas cosas, pero te puedo asegurar que no soy extrovertido. Al contrario, estoy muy impuesto estar en silencio. Me gusta mucho perderme en mis pensamientos y platico mejor con una sola persona que cuando estoy en un lugar lleno de gente. Así soy. De niño me gustaba apartarme poquito siempre, ya fuera de con mis primos en las reuniones o de mis compañeros en la escuela. Siempre me apartaba lo suficientemente lejos para que no tuviera que compartir demás, pero me quedaba lo suficientemente cerca para que no sintieran que estaba alejado. Todo bien medido para protegerme. Tengo una parte mía que siempre he estado en alerta,

asumiendo que todo mundo habla de mí, o sospecha de mí, o siente rechazo hacia mí. Esa parte siempre me llena la vida de ansiedad, y me hace esconderme aún más. Tengo otra parte de mí que es muy alegre, que es muy creativa, y sobre todo, cuando ya no tengo miedo, soy muy buen amigo. Yo sé que no soy el único así.

Por eso me moría de ganas de platicarte lo que es ser como yo platicar de lo que es ser de pueblo católico y gay aquí comienza ya la sexta temporada ya pude platicar no sólo de mi historia platicar con mi padre con mi madre y con mi abuela y he compartido esas plicas aquí contigo. A lo largo ya de tres años he escuchado más de 100 historias de personas como yo, he reído mucho, he llorado, he recordado tantas cosas que ya se me habían olvidado y sobre todo he aprendido a ser mejor. Junto, hemos cambiado la manera de ver la vida y de verse a sí mismos de muchas personas y cada que escucho de ti se me llenan del agrima los ojos al saber que tú no te sientes solo y que yo ya no me siento solo tampoco. Te prometo que voy a seguir trabajando para crear un espacio donde todas las personas se sientan bienvenidas y que cuando lleguen aquí encuentren algo de sí mismas en este proyecto. Aquí voy a estar listo siempre para escuchar tu historia, pero antes de comenzar quiero que nos tomemos un momento en silencio juntos para entender que hay muchas personas ahorita de nuestra comunidad que ya no están con nosotros. Hay muchas personas de nuestra comunidad también que han perdido a un ser querido. Hay alguien en nuestra cuadra incluso que está aprendiendo a vivir sin alguien de su familia. Y muchos no se pudieron despedir como Dios manda de sus seres queridos. Y muchos más se están ahorita en el hospital luchando por su vida. A todas las personas que ya no están reso para que tengan un eterno descanso en la gloria de Dios. A todas las personas que están luchando por su vida en un hospital, les deseo que tengan a alguien que les esté cuidando con mucho cariño que no se sientan solos y que tengan una pronta recuperación y a ti que estás saliendo adelante con un nudo en la garganta, te mando un abrazo y te acompañó en tu dolor.
