Let's get started. Hey, welcome back for another Thursday bonus episode where I will tell you about a place where I will be preaching and teaching coming up next week

and also share with you the lyrics of a song that is amazing. Today's song is titled In Jesus

Name by Katie Nicole. Really, these lyrics are incredible. They call upon the name of the Lord,

the authority of the Lord, to heal and to help

those who are in desperation. I just love the title of this song. I've had this vision in my head

for the last three and a half years of getting to end an episode by simply saying,

in Jesus name. But as you may know, we always end with the episode title, so this was the

only way to get that done. I'm going to read it out for you in a minute, and the particular

value today is it will help guide you into how you can pray for family and friends and anyone in your life who is hurting. You can do everything

in your power to help them, and you should, but your power is nothing compared to the name of

Jesus. There is nothing greater you can do for another than praying for him to be active in their

life. But first, just a quick word on a trip that I'm

hoping to take. If the good Lord wills it, I will be in Bowling Green, Kentucky on Sunday, September

the 11th, all the way through Friday night, September 16th. This will be my first trip to that city,

so I've already penciled in the Corvette Museum and a

really good burger and coffee place. But more than anything, I'm just looking forward to spending

the week with the brethren who meet at the West End Church of Christ. Services start 9 a.m. on
