Let's get started. Good morning. Welcome to the program. Thank you so much for listening. I really hope things are going well for you, that you're seeing many blessings now in your life and hope for future things, and particularly in whatever season, which will be thematic today of life that you are in. I hope you're learning to pick the fruit that is available and anticipate the harvest

that is to come. Our title today comes from a song that I heard on the radio recently by a guy

named Ben Rector called Living My Best Life, very positive song, hopeful song, and right in the middle,

he says, I'm learning how to eat the fruit that is in season. And as soon as I heard that,

I pulled up my phone, went to the note section, typed it in, and I told myself, I really need

to revisit that because I'm intrigued by the idea not only of identifying the fruit of a particular

season, but also the process of learning how to partake of it, which rightly

indicates that this is something you have to learn to do, and you're far better off if you do.

So several things to discuss today, and you'll be asked to really make application based on

whatever particular, quote, season of life that you are in.

But to get us moving in the proper

direction, let's start by talking about the four seasons of the calendar year. I mean, I live in Texas.

I don't think we have those, but in general, you get the point. They're spring and summer and fall

and winter. And one thing is true about each and really inevitable about each, and that is they have their challenges.

And sometimes we're really good at picking that out, the things that we don't like about a particular season.

Let's start with winter since it moves into January and February.
