I want to give you some background verses because it's been a while since we've been in Romans 14.

And background verses to the introduction to where we're going today.

John chapter 3 verse 15 begins, Jesus is speaking.

Whoever believes in him, which is amazing.

Jesus said this, folks, listen. Jesus is saying this. In other words, when you read this and

study this theologically, because the father is going to be referenced, this is what's known

Jesus speaking in what is called the third person.

So watch, Jesus is speaking, but technically,

theologically, the Holy Spirit is speaking through Jesus.

Whoever believes in him, you hear that?

Jesus said that.

Should not perish but have eternal life. For God, you got the Trinity right there.

You see it?

Did you get it?

Speaking in the third person, he speaks about himself, yet acknowledges God.

So for God so love the world that he gave, gifted, his only begotten son that whosoever

believes in him should

not perish, that is wind up in hell, be lost for eternity, but have everlasting life.
