| 0:21.7 | and tonight we are in the book of Ecclesiastes, chapter 3. |
| 0:27.3 | We're going through the Bible, book by book, and chapter by chapter and verse by verse. |

| 0:39.5 | Then we made our way through Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, judges, Ruth, 1st and 2nd Samuel, |
| 0:46.6 | 1st and 2nd Kings, 1st and 2nd Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, what a book, |
| 0:53.7 | what a trial, Psalms, andhemiah, Esther, Job. What a book. What a trial. Psalms and then Proverbs. |
| 0:58.4 | And then now we are in the book of Ecclesiastes. And so chapter three tonight, been really looking forward to what the Lord has for us. |

| 1:15.6 | and it is related to everything having to do with there being a time and a season for everything. And as we're going to see here shortly, Solomon |
| 1:32.9 | is going to make this profound connection between time in the realm of the finite and eternity in the realm of the infinite. |
| 1:47.0 | And I really want to point this out because in so doing, he comes to this conclusion |
| 1:56.0 | that God has made everything beautiful and meaningful, and he has set everything right. |
| 2:08.7 | And that's actually when we get to that verse, what that word carries with it the idea |
| 2:16.8 | of. It's not just that he makes everything beautiful in his time. |
| 2:20.9 | He makes everything right. He sets it right. And he does so because he's not created us for time. |
| 2:30.3 | He's created us for eternity. But here's this struggle because we live in time, |
| 2:39.0 | but we live for eternity. And this is the struggle and the conflict that Solomon is having. |
| 2:47.8 | Because remember now, he has set out to find purpose and meaning in life |
| 2:55.4 | and all add death as well. We'll see a little bit of that tonight. And he's set out to do this |
| 3:03.6 | apart from God. How's that working out for you, Solomon? Not too well. We'll find out in chapter |
