This week they announced the inductees into the rock and roll hall of fame.

Names like Cheryl Crow, Willie Nelson, Missy Elliott,

Rage Against the Machine, Kate Bush. Finally getting her come up and thank you

Stranger Things for bringing her back onto our radar in a significant way,

running up that hill. These are the names now, rock and roll hall of fame.

Well what we're doing in this season in the life of our church is we're

looking at God's hall of fame. What are the names that God wants to be on our

minds as we think about the picture of what faith looks like. And this is now the

third week in this series we called pioneers is not just a one-time pioneer,

not just a two-time pioneer. He is a three-time, eight-year triple pioneer. He

pioneered when it came to prophecy was the first ever prophet we read about in

the Bible, no big deal. In fact, we will, by the end of this sermon, I promise you,

we will read one of his prophecies that he made. Then he also was a pioneer

when it came to walking, the art and the skill of walking. He blazed a trail,

first of his kind, to walk in the way that he walked. And then third and

finally, he was a pioneer when it came to dying, dying. Title of my message is

in God's hands now. In God's hands now, which is Christianese, right?

Christianese, how Christians talk, Christians say weird things. This happens

the moment you get baptized, you come out and you just start, you do, I mean,

not immediately, but eventually you get enough, you know, Christian culture

around, you'll start saying weird things. And one of the things Christians like to
