We're going to do a deep dive into the topic of divine healing.

I'm covering everything from why God heals, obstacles to healing, how to minister

healing to others. And then at the very end, I want to pray with you for two things. Number one,

I want to pray with you that God's healing power would intensify in your life that you might

minister healing to others. And number two, if you're believing for your healing miracle,

then I pray that after having received faith-stirring truths,

that you're now positioned to receive your healing once and for all.

I'm going to be praying for those two things at the end.

This is a big topic.

We're covering it thoroughly, so we're going to jump right into it.

The first subject we're covering. Why does God heal? The first reason God heals is number one because

of covenant. That is that healing is in the atonement. We as believers can receive healing because of

what Christ accomplished on the cross.

Now pay attention here. Psalm 103.

Look at how this verse ties healing and forgiveness closely together.

Psalm 103 says, He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.

And then in Isaiah chapter 53 verses 1 through 5,

we read, Who hath believed our report? And to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant and as a root out of a dry ground. He hath no form nor comeliness, and when we shall

see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. This is speaking of the disfigurement that

Jesus experienced when he was crucified. He was beaten and bruised so badly that there was nothing in him
