Hello, hello, hello, hello. Welcome to the Joe DeVos show, I think. I have not recorded

an episode of the Joe DeVos show since last year. I think it was January 24, maybe, if I'm

remembering correctly. I think I was talking about shadow work, something rather,

because Groundhog Day was coming up,

and I'm often thinking about shadow work this time of year.

It's the end of January.

I'm thinking about that again.

But really, the reason I am here is because my podcasting host, blog talk radio, is going out of business.

And I have till the end of the month to transfer my RSS feed.

And I kind of procrastinated on where to go because I have lost faith in all the different platforms, be they social media, video hosting platforms, podcast hosting platforms, where I host my programs, my old ebooks, all of that, I've kind of lost trust in because they change and they keep

changing. The more power they get, the more they change, the more they ask of people who are

posting there, the more they take, the more those of us who are creating there and using those platforms, we start to feel a little bit victimized and pushed around.

And I just don't love it. I've been creating online since 2004 officially is when I brought my first business online.

And so I've watched the internet and doing online

business go through many different iterations to the point where I am now. Or I'm like, I don't know

where to build my house because the ground keeps shifting beneath me. And blog talk radio actually,

it was just this slumpy little platform I actually got made fun of using it from a number of different podcasters that were like you're hosting on

blog talk radio that's so uncool but once I find a place I like I tend to stick to it until maybe they start screwing

me around and then I'll leave eventually hello Facebook but blog talk just this little engine

that could it went on and on for years they didn't change a thing they didn't keep raising the

prices on me but but now what?

They're going out of business. And that's too bad. And I need to move. So like I said, I didn't
