We're not even covering House the Dragon News, but we are accompanied by a wonderful guest, one of my very good friends from the

YouTube sphere and that is Joanna from Joanna.

Reads what resonates. There was a name change at some point back in the day,

you know different eras I would say but Joanna is a wonderful

wonderful booktuber over on YouTube and does all types of book reviews and

bookish content. I would say also video essays that pertain to fantasy a lot of the time and we are

very privileged for you to join us say how are you Joanna? Oh I'm so grateful to be here

so I'm super, super thrilled to have this conversation.

I know me and Matt were excited because, you know know we go back and forth all the time like I know most of

Matt's opinions on the series you knows most of mine so when we get a fresh voice in here to talk about a song of ice and fire

it's always a really good time. You are rereading the series right now and for the first time in a decade, is that right?

Yeah, yeah, I read the five books right around the time the first season of the show came out around that time.

So it's been a while and I had forgotten a ton but I loved it then and I'm just I'm having the best experience rereading it right now.

That is awesome.

And you just finished a feast for crows if I'm not mistaken today.

Yes, I just finished it today and I loved it. I was just saying right before we went live that I I don't think I love a feast for crows less than a storm of swords. It is a very different reading experience. And so I think maybe there might be an adjustment there because you are given so many different parts of the world,
