Today I'm in court and in the bathroom with Allison Mack and Nexium.

Music So it was a very long nexium hearing two hours today.

And the most striking thing is when you walk into the nexium courtroom is the amount of lawyers and defendants.

There are, I counted 20 lawyers and defendants and Nancy Salzman was not in attendance.

She was in attendance via phone because she is recovering from breast cancer surgery.

And so you see so many lawyers on one side, this long, long table filled with lawyers and defendants facing three prosecutors. And this was the first time that I had seen

prosecutor Kevin Trowell, who has been added to the prosecution team in court. And he is quite a

striking figure. He looks like a kend doll. Or he looks like someone that would

have been in the scene in American Psycho, where they're talking about the business cards, really

chiseled, really tall, handsome, very much like a kind of 80s pin-up looking guy. And so each lawyer on the defense side stood up

and argued why one of the charges should be, you know, dropped. And so it was a good preview of what the nexium defense will be.

Because the theme of all the different arguments was that this nexium was good, that the women

did this by choice,

that there was no coercion.

People gave over their collateral willingly,

that it did wonderful things, and that it doesn't meet the specifications of sex trafficking or sex slavery.

And Allison Mack's lawyer, Sean Buckley, argued this very passionately, saying, you know, when we talk about sex slavery and sex trafficking,

it is defined as in relation to sweatshops, prostitution, or domestic servitude.

Your Honor, these women were getting coffee, they were making lunch, they were carrying luggage.
