I am Simon Brew.

It's all you need to know about me.

The aim of the podcast, though, well, I'm here to talk of the title gives it away the stories of film. And I tend to talk about development stories,

production stories, marketing stories, behind the scenes stories, all the bits and bobs really that go

to make the films that we know and sometimes love. Just that, the films that we know and

sometimes love. Now, what you've happened upon here is a very special episode of the

podcast. I occasionally do these whereby I bring someone in and talk through their film stories,

the stories of their filmmaking careers and their work. And I'm absolutely delighted this

episode to be joined by the Oscar winning producer and giant of the British film industry, Lord David Putnam.
