quarterly supplement. Our guest is Pippa Lamb. She is a bit of an anomaly in the venture capital

world. She is a partner at Sweet Capital and Early Stage Investment Fund set up by the founders

of none other than the mobile game Candy Crush and she's very much in the minority as a woman but more on

that later and regardless it hasn't stopped her from rising through the ranks and learning plenty of

valuable lessons along the way she's here today to share lots of advice her story and for her thank you so

much for joining me and welcome we've interviewed you before at show lux and I was actually in preparation

for today,

rereading that interview, which was a couple of years ago, and thinking what brilliant advice you gave and thank you so much. It's great to be here. Thank you so much for having me.

Thank you for putting us in. You're seriously busy. So I'm really very grateful always to the guests that give up their time but yeah I

know you're particularly busy I was looking back I was researching your career as I said in

preparation for today and you really achieved so much it's quite phenomenal can you take us back

to your upbringing so your father is Chinese your mother British yes you grew up here can you take us back to your upbringing? So your father is Chinese, your mother British.

Yes.

You grew up here.

Can you tell us a little bit about your upbringing, your education, your journey to Oxford.
