Well, we're delighted to have you on the podcast.

Let's start just very simply with why you're running and your background.

Yeah, absolutely.

And those are very related.

So I started doing the young Turks about 17, almost 18 years ago now,

young progressives looking to overthrow and established system.

That's the dictionary definition.

And that's what we do.

So we've backed a lot of progressive candidates throughout the years.

But really what we do is the news. And in terms of the news,

we do the facts first, then we do context, and then we do perspective. So we are not at all shy about

our perspective. In fact, we call Young Turks home of progressives. And so we started out of my living room with

almost no money. And back in 2002, we now have 12 billion lifetime views and about 50 million

unique viewers a month. And that is because we gave people something that they desperately wanted and nobody
