On August 14, 2018, a 911 call was placed in San Francisco, and at first, it didn't seem

like there was an actual emergency to report.

At best, it was a mildly concerning circumstance.

Residents on Clara Street had noticed that a truck for a private crime scene

cleanup company was parked outside one of their neighbor's homes.

There was also a slightly suspicious man lurking nearby.

On its own, neither of these things seemed to warrant an emergency response.

They might merit a call to the nearest police station with a request that they come check

the situation out.
