where we talk about Spooks, Spectres, and all the other things watching us from the shadows beyond

the campfire. Some conversations only make sense after the sun has set, and this is most definitely one.

Thanks for tuning in, this is episode number 117, and we're coming here from that tiny mountain

cavity dream about, but can never quite reach. And Paul, this is the first time we've done a show

where we can see each other on the call, and you made me laugh, this is dangerous. It was bad

enough when we were just hearing each other, now we can make faces at each other, we're in real trouble.

Yeah, well, I tend to make a face even when I'm not trying. I also have this problem. I have

I have resting jerk face, I am told. So how are you doing over there in the land of the grand

renovation? We're getting there slowly but surely, we now have sockets on the walls, and our lights

now all work independently, because I tell you that if you turned one particular light on four

came on. I mean, it's efficient. Well, yeah, if you turn the hall on, the kitchen and both bedroom

would come on. And if you turn the hall off, they'd all go off. Oh, Jesus.

Which apparently the landlord was not aware of. So I don't know what the previous tenants

enjoyed from that particular setup, but he's very kindly fixed that for us as well along with

everything else. So yes, the painters arrived tomorrow. We've had trees cut down this week,

plasterers. So yes, onwards and upwards, new alarm fitted, it's all good. Oh, that's fantastic.

The light thing reminds me of back when I used to work, I worked as a shipper receiver in a pathology

lab. And so the lab itself was, it's here in Victoria and it's in a building that was once a

hospital for elderly people. I don't know if it was a home specifically, but it was a kind of hospital.

And the warehouse downstairs were all the cell packs and things like this were kept.
