Summary

Today's podcast will give you three tangible ways you can improve your mental performance in 2025.

Body follows mind.

Yet we as athletes rarely focus on (or know!) how we can improve our mental game.

Luckily for you all today I have the privilege of sitting down with my good friend, Shannon MAPP, NCCP!

If you're not familiar with Shannon, she's the mental performance counselor who works closely with NAU, NAZ Elite, UA Dark Sky Distance, and a plethora of top professional runners. As an athlete and a coach, Shannon has always been fascinated by the psychology of well-being and achievement.

Her interest regarding the power of the mind to impact an athlete's performance and overall experience drove Shannon to complete an undergraduate degree in psychology, and then a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.

Through listening to this podcast episode, you'll walk about with three big practical tools on improving mental performance that you can directly apply today.

You'd be a fool not to listen. Free wisdom that many people pay for.

Tap into the Shannon Thompson Special.

If you enjoy the podcast, please consider following us on Spotify and Apple Podcasts and giving us a five-star review! I would also appreciate it if you share it with your friend who you think will benefit from it.
