Hey, folks, a quick, important update.

Forrest and I are pretty private, but you're the reason we do this, so we want to be straight with you.

Over the past months, years really, we've hinted it struggles with our aging parents.

Sadly, Forrest's father passed on October 24th, and my own mother passed just seven days later on

October 31st, Halloween. It's been a hard stretch, and after talking it over, we decided that we

need to step back for a bit. So, for the first time since 2014, Astonishing Legends is taking a pause.

There will be no new episodes of the main show or the Dead Letter Office through the end of 2025.

We may post some older episodes or occasional content, and we might cross-post episodes from other

Astonishing Legends network shows to keep the feed active.

Yes, our network is still running business as usual, so if you're missing us and haven't

already tried out our network shows, look for and subscribe to the Midnight Library,

scared all the time, and Richard Haddam's Paranormal Bookshelf, wherever you get your podcasts.

Some of you have already heard about our losses, and we've read your kind messages and

appreciate them deeply. And please forgive us if we don't reply to everyone who reaches out,

but we're in plugging for a while to recover and prepare new shows for 2006,

with a lot of topics we're pretty excited about.
