All right, Thrive Nation, welcome back to the conversation. It is The Thrive Time Show

on your radio. We're talking about how to become the elephant in any room. Specifically,

we're talking about the 57 words of wisdom and mindsets you need to become a successful

person. Now, I want to make sure that all the listeners know where I came from. My name

is Clay Clark. I grew up in a family where we struggled financially from time to time.

My dad worked hard. My mom worked hard. I remember my dad was 37. I'm 37 now. I remember

one time I found that he was delivering pizza to make ends meet. And as a kid, I thought,

because all the kids were like, do we heard your dad deliver pizza? And they'd make fun

of me because of it. And I stuttered all the time too. So people used to make fun of

me because my dad delivered pizza. So I used to make up stories. I'd say, no, my dad

does not deliver pizza. My dad actually works in a job for the government and it's classified

what he does. Yeah, it looks like he's a pizza delivery driver. But I mean, seriously,

I would make these things up because people would make fun of me. Now as a man, my dad

died about 15, 16 months ago. He got a nine five. He died of ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease.

And now, I think that's the most incredible thing you could do to realize that you can't

make ends meet into deliver pizzas. Isn't that cool? I mean, to think about that, that

you aren't going to go on welfare and you're going to deliver pizzas. Yeah. Some people

won't. That's why they'll just talk about how they're broken. They don't have a job.
