Yesterday, in a historic vote, the House endorsed the impeachment inquiry into President Trump,

supporting a resolution that sets the terms for public hearings.

They are expected to begin in a few weeks.

The vote conveyed the near-unanimous belief of House Democrats that Trump has committed

impeachable offenses in his administration's interactions with Ukrainian officials.

House Republicans voted as a bloc against the proceedings,
