Raskin and the House Managers, what a show, what a great presentation about what happened

in the Capitol, but they're great for constitutional law, B-minus, with great inflation.

What happened in the Capitol doesn't prove in any way that the President's speech on

December 6th was not fully protected by the First Amendment.

It was, and you'll hear why on the der show.

The first full day of President Trump's second impeachment trial was very, very good theater.

I have to give a lot of credit for those who edited the films and put them together.

It was dramatic, it was riveting, and it was scary.

What went on in the Capitol on January 6th was really, really frightening.

We saw people breaking in and gauged in horrible, serious crimes, and literally frightening

to death, members of Congress.

Fortunately, no member of Congress was hurt, but we know that seven people died and others

were seriously injured.

The Capitol was assaulted, property was destroyed, windows were broken, and I sure hope that

the FBI and local police can arrest all of the people who were in any way responsible

for the damage and the violence and even the trespassing that was done on the grounds

of the Capitol.

It was a terrible, terrible day for America, and yet we recovered.

By the end of the day, Congress certified the votes, the protesters were defeated, many

were arrested, the electoral votes were certified, and Biden was sworn in, democracy prevailed,

the United States of America passed a stress test, a very serious stress test, one of the
