21 million COVID jabs now on British soil.

The Daily Mail chooses to stick this on its front page,

perfectly understandably.

I don't think that any body really needs to have it explain to them why they would not put yesterday's death toll on

the front page, the worst day of the pandemic so far yesterday with 1,564 lives lost. 1,564.

Oh, boy.

But the vaccine program is still going extremely well.

So once again, just because they muffed everything up yesterday,

doesn't mean that they will muff everything up today.

And so far so splendid with the vaccines. I am worried and so should you be,

I think, about this new strain that has been discovered in Brazil. I don't know whether it was

intentional, but there was a caller yesterday. It was Jane in Finchley. It was Jane, wasn't it? I

hope I misremembered her name.

She's always so charming when she comes on the programme.

And she sort of just snuck under my radar a bit.
