Today is Wednesday, November 13th, 2019. It is a sad day in America. I believe it's a sad day. This is only today is only the fourth time in American history that Congress has launched impeachment proceedings against a sitting president.

Consider that two of those times were against President Andrew Johnson in

The third time, Bill Clinton 1998, separated by a span of 130 years.

All three of those proceedings resulted in impeachments.

Of course Andrew Johnson being impeached in 1868 or consequential to the impeachment hearings.

That was over a firing which was later overturned I think in the early 20th century the not the impeachment
