Morning Mindset and we are here because we want to help you get your mind aligned with the truth of God's word.

And I just realized it's funny, I'm saying we, when I'm the only person sitting here in my studio.

Welcome. I'm glad that you're here. The morning

my set is my gift to you. It's a way for us to join around God's word and

think God's thoughts after him. Today we'll be looking at Romans chapter 1

verses 11 and 12 and before we get into it I want to ask you if you've been

11 and 12 I would like to pray because I feel I need God's help.

Lord, I need your help because I don't understand your word as deeply as I should and with

the insight that I need unless you help me.

And so I'm asking you, Lord, to help me as I endeavor to teach those who are listening and as they listen,

Lord, empower them to receive your word with truth and with power in Jesus

name amen. All right here in Romans chapter one obviously we're very early on in the book. The Apostle Paul who wrote this letter is just

getting into his greeting and telling why he's writing the book to them. It is a book from our perspective, but for them it was a very long letter and so he says

in verse number 11 for I long to see you that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you, that is, that we may be mutually

encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine. Now this statement comes right on the heels of the

Apostle Paul saying that he prays for them constantly. And here in
