Hello, Times Square Church family. I feel that when Elder Vicky had us saying there's an army rising up,

I believe that's God bearing witness to what he is saying to us today. And an army that the Lord is talking about is an army that's put on its feet by the spirit of God.

And it's got a new heart and a new

spirit. Well, God, help us to hear what he is saying today, what he wants to do. When I prayed today,

it was like, God, what do these people before me need to hear from you? And then help us, oh God,

this word not fall to the ground, but to be lodged in our heart

to be hooked in our heart oh god for your glory in what you're going to do in us and through us

so i just want to say what a joy it is to be here with you today i thank you pastor tim for

the honor of speaking here into this congregation.

And I would just ask if we could go to the word, before we go to the word, to the Lord in prayer.

Lord Jesus, I thank you for every person here. I thank you that you are among us. Holy Spirit speak today. Holy Spirit, do what only you can do.

Revealed Jesus, reveal His word by your spirit. And I thank you when you do that, oh God, we will

remember it. We will be changed by it. We will bring you glory. You will love us to hold us.

You will take us to places we've never been before with an understanding. So we thank you that

we are your people, the sheep of your pastor. Feed us today. We'll be grateful. We'll be changed.

The message today that I want to speak to you is called impacting a city towards Christ.

Impacting a city towards Christ. I know many times there are, many of us here have gone to church and we've been truly

touched by the presence of God. The worship has moved us. The word inspired us and challenged us.

And for those moments, it's like a glory filled us and we thought all things are possible with God.

But then, and I have experienced it, we walk out these doors and it's like

the city can seemingly swallow the light that is in us, the darkness in this city and the times
