Hey everybody, welcome to another episode of Impact Quotes where I take you inside my

mind to the quotes that I've come across of the week.

Things that have really impacted me.

I am an absolute obsessive collector of quotes and nuggets of wisdom and I try to put

them together into a package that I think that you guys will enjoy.

First up, failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.

This comes from Henry Ford and it is a quote that I absolutely adore and the reason that

this one has really had an impact on me is because of the way that people traditionally

think about failure.

People think of it as being something that is corrosive.

They think of it as a scarlet letter or something that is really a mark against you.

But what Henry Ford and really what I find is everybody that's had a significant level

of success, they look at it very, very differently and they look at it from the perspective of what

they can gain from it.

And I think that is the most important perspective shift that anybody can have is to stop thinking

about what the failure says about you, which is just a wrong headed way of looking at it.

And instead ask, what can this failure teach me?

What is there to learn in that?

And it really is hilarious how powerful a teacher failure is when you're willing to learn

the lesson.

And because failure stings, because failure is a game of ego, a lot of times people can't

get out of their own way and really see the powerful message that lies within that
