broke all of our hearts over the weekend, you know, some really, some nasty stuff in the news

last week. Hey, but New York held their marathon. Yesterday morning, we had an American woman

win the marathon for the first time an American woman had done so in 40 years.

So, you know, as we always do, we found a bright side, didn't we?

Yeah.

New York did a great job of really rallying together to pull off that marathon.

Always makes you proud to be an American.

And as you said, yeah, prayers are with Texas today. A horrible shooting happened yesterday.

You know, it isn't trite to say that you're offering your prayers to these folks because, you know, as people of faith, that's probably what they would really appreciate.

No, of course not. This is a community devastated. You know, in that church service, the First Baptist Church, there would have been about 50 people.

And of course, almost all of that number of 50 was shot or injured.

And some of the stories about who was victimized by this attack, the pastor's 14-year-old

daughter, a family of eight.
