I mean, that was the hardest.

That was by far the hardest one.

And you're on set and you think it's scary and you're like, is this going to cut?

And then the take that you thought was scary, you end up using the part of the flubbed take because the reaction is sharper. And it's that

whole balance of like, when you reveal the thing that scares you, when you have the sting, which

can't be on it, has to be a few frames late. And then you have to cut to the reaction right away.

And then it works.

In this episode, a woman joins an illustrious convent with Hidden Secrets in director Michael Mohan's horror film, Immaculate. The film tells the story of Cecilia, an American nun who has

offered a new role at a picturesque convent in the Italian countryside.

But once there, her dream assignment quickly turns into a living nightmare when she discovers her new home harbors a sinister secret and unspeakable horrors.

In addition to Immaculate, Mohan's other directorial credits include the feature films, The Voyeurs, Save the Date, and episodes of the series Everything Sucks.

Following a screening of the film at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles, Mohan spoke with director Adam Robital about filming Immaculate.
