Hey, Deservyn Listeners. Today's episode is about imaginary friends. But before we get into the topic, I want to give the background of this episode.

So a while back, a radio show reached out to me, a radio show called Haunted Talks, the official podcast of The Haunted Walk.

Well they said it was a radio show, pretty sure it was a radio show and a podcast.

Anyway, it's called Haunted Talks. and they reached out to me and they

wanted me to be on their show to provide an expert opinion about

imaginary friends and I said sure what do you want to talk about and he's like well you do you want to talk about?

And he's like, well, you know, we want to talk about how,

is it, are they ghosts or what?

This kind of thing?

And I was like, what do you mean?

He's like, well, you know, because sometimes imaginary friends, you know, they might be ghosts. Some people are worried about that and I and I said, oh, well, you don't want me on your show because I'm going to tear down that whole argument.

One, we don't need to invoke fictional storylines

into our real life to explain, you know, real phenomenon.

So I'm not going to support that idea that there are ghosts.

And two, to propose such an idea is damaging to children and parents. You have parents

walking around if they listen to your show and you're saying that they're

going that their kids are possessed or that they're seeing a ghost.

One, you're going to freak the parents out in a unnecessary way.

And the parents might do something to the kids to shame them or to make them feel like it is a ghost.

And that would be terrifying to a kid.

Imagine your friends are totally normal
