Cop Training. This podcast episode today dates back to about a year and a half or two years ago. We had

Jesse Hartnett come into the office here into our makeshift studio time and record this

podcast we had this thought of doing a podcast unfortunately it's been tucked

away in the files for a while I wanted to bring it back to life it's worth it to spend the time listening to the

interview I did with Jesse Hartnett. If you don't know who he is, he's a

Philadelphia police officer who is a unprovoked attack against him while he was in patrol in the street a gentleman in the name of Islam

attacked him in his car firing 13 rounds into the vehicle striking him three times in his left arm.

His co-workers were able to save his life by getting

to the hospital fast and getting him into surgery. He's alive today and well

great guy. Had to ultimately retire from police work because of the injury sustained to his arm in the line of duty.

He is a hero and icon and when the incident occurred it was known around the world what had happened and I think that the one thing we could

take away from the video when you watch it is the bravery of him getting shot many times

and jumping out of the car and returning fire and trying to

chase down the suspect he got sit there and die he has a lion heart he has the heart

of a lion he is somebody who did not in his vision decide that he was going to die that day.

And he talks about it in this podcast.
