I do want to say regarding this one thing that's needed, that the Lord had been ministering

some things to me through

the night and even early this morning that I think fit really well with the declaration we just

made in worship. I think if I had time to quiz everybody on their needs, we would have a lot more than

one need. But the song obviously is in the

context of the one thing that's needed is to pour our oil on him. But what if that's the one thing

that's needed for all the needs? And when you think you need material breakthrough, you think you need circumstantial breakthrough,

maybe what you need to do is partner with the grace for the one thing that's needed,

and your need gets met when you begin to participate in the one thing that's needed. And so I want to talk a

little bit about worship this morning, but I'm going to stay in the context of theotic eschatology.

We went into the eschatological side of things a little bit the other night, and whichever night that was.

But I'm going to lean more into the theosis side of it today, but really more into what the term

I'm using now that I probably will begin to interchange with theosis is illumination.

And it's a very patristic.

Patristic comes from the Greek word potter

which which is one of the words used for father and so the fathers of the faith or the

patristic fathers the early church fathers begin to think of theosis divinization or deification

also in the term of illumination and that's the side of it I'd like to look into

but I had I had something come to me in the night many many years ago before I

married Tammy which I knows many many years ago since we've been married 25 years

this year I traveled never alone always took somebody with me when I traveled
