When Illinois Governor JB Pritzker took office in January 2019, the world was a completely

different place.

The COVID crisis took a hold a year into his term, and domestic politics have taken a sharp

right turn.

But Governor Pritzker isn't shrinking away when that draft ruling overturning Roe v. Wade

was made public.

After tweeted, hell no, in Illinois we trust women.

Such language should a sitting governor say such things about a draft that could change.

Well you're damn right, it's important for us all to speak out, to make sure that our

voices are heard.

Great to see you too Governor, so answer the question, why did you feel compelled to send

that tweet out and speak out so publicly and force rightly?

You know, my mother took me marching on behalf of women's rights when women's reproductive

rights in the 1970s when I was young, and I really haven't stopped marching and being

an activist on behalf of reproductive rights.

Roe v. Wade is something that should be a concern to everyone.
