As you know, now government now that the 15% of government that was not operational and

the government employees who were not receiving paychecks, that has all been attended to.

And sure enough, as is their way, the Democrats have responded to this outreach from the White

House to this gesture from the GOP of good faith with all of the gratitude and seriousness

that the moment deserves.

Oh no, just kidding.

They're playing politics right away.
