It's also, it's weird that days just fly by like this, Drew. We can't, and I am joined by my buddy Drew Silva today. The day's just kind of get mumbled together as we get deeper into the season it's

both a good and a bad thing i think we're going to be talking about some injured players and some

players that you can stash that could help you down the stretch uh but first let's talk about some headlines

and let's talk about one of those injured players who came back max freed couldn't have it didn't look

like he had any rust to shake off in this one, did he?

Yeah, hopefully some of the guys we're going to be talking about come back as well as he did.

And I was locked into this one.

Max Fried finally returning a day game at Wrigley Field against a Cubs team that declined to trade

Cody Ballinger and some of their other

tradable options ahead of Tuesday's deadline.

And, you know, now this team, this Cubs team is trying to push up to the top of the National

League Central.

They've won like, what is it, like 13 of their last 16 games, something to that effect.

And so like that, NL Central titles fully within their reach.

It was a great crowd there,

but then rolls in this Atlanta buzz saw,

not only that offense that put up eight runs on Friday afternoon,

seven of those runs coming in the fourth inning,

but then you have freed on the mound,

and he was terrific,

six scoreless innings on a highly efficient 72 pitches to get through those six scoreless
