Today I have a very good friend of ours, Aaron Snyard from Kafaru.

If you don't know him, you've been living underneath a rock.

Aaron's got quite the social media presence.

And he's a really interesting man. I've known Aaron for probably 10 years. Is it been? Yeah, probably more than that actually thinking about it. Yeah. First time I met you was at the Denver ISE show. It was a long time ago. Yeah, it was a long time ago. I don't go to those shows anymore. Actually, I try not to. I was going to say bullshit. I saw you at the

Hun Expo this year. Yeah, yeah, I went to that one with the clothing and the the backpacks or whatever. I told my crew I'd go to one. So that was the one. That was the one. Yeah, that was the one. Well, that's cool. So you've, you've, you've, you've obviously made a splash in the industry and backpacks are are killing it. We're here in Riverton, Wyoming, in the headquarters of Kifaru, which is just down the road from us. I like to call it. I like to call it the world headquarters. It sounds better because there's only one. So I actually stole that from John Barclow. But yeah, it's the world headquarters. The world headquarters of Kifarro. Oh, geez, that's cool. So, Aaron, you know, this is kind of a different little conversation. We're going to talk about who Aaron is. I know a lot of these podcasts, you get suckered into talking about hunting or talking about the, you know, whatever the hot topic is at that moment or talking about this or that. I want to talk about Aaron. I want to know,

you know, where did you grow up? You know, when did you start hunting? Some of your most memorable

hunts, you know, what you're doing now. You know, I know you have a really interesting

life before you got, you know, involved in Kifar. So where did you, you grew up in, Ida, or Oregon, right?

Oregon, yep, Detroit Lake Oregon. It's about 200. It's actually just burnt down recently.

Oh, geez. But, uh, yeah, 200 people in my hometown, um, right in the middle of Cascade range.

So like for, for, uh, geographically where the Pacific Crest Trail,

you know, where it goes from Canada of Mexico, that comes through the Cascades. I'm just west

of the Pacific Crest Trail. So the, uh, you know, north of Portland then? South. So, um,

if you, like if you look at Bend and let's say Portland and kind of drew an angled line,
