Happy Thursday, everyone. Today's episode is all about dancing, and I want to thank listener

Kara for suggesting this topic. I've been circling it for a while, but I don't just want to do

dance movies because most of my favorite dance movies are musicals, and I already did a podcast on

musicals. But in Kara's email to me, she phrased her suggestion as dance scenes in movies, and it all clicked.

I sashed right over to my sister, who's been a dance instructor her entire life, and we brainstormed a solid list in five minutes, truly.

In fact, the list was so solid that we had to pair it down.

A quick apology to Otis Redding. The song I refer to in the

podcast is Love Man, not Soul Man. I'm so sorry, Otis, my brain fell out of my head when I hit

40. My bad. Also, fair warning, we are a dance family, and some of our choices are unconventional.
