Summary

I am a fan of musicals. That's weird to admit. It's like saying, "Hey y'all, I hate green beans." After recording this podcast with my friend Stephanie, I forgot how much I love musicals. Choosing my favorites was next to impossible, and as the podcast goes on, I realize there are beloved musicals that I completely forgot. Dreamgirls, for one. Jennifer Hudson and Bey? Yes, please. Also, Rock of Ages. Tom Cruise as an 80s rock star? I'll allow it. Stephanie and I dig deep. Here are a few things we discuss: Lina Lamont's diction training - Singing in the Rain How I had a crush on all the boys in Newsies OUR LOVE OF CONRAD! Does Elphaba from Wicked wash her green makeup off every night? The fact that the Lion King's opening "Circle of Life" number gives us chills I like Zac Ephron singing "Ladies Choice" from Hairspray. No judgement.
