Hello, everyone. Let me begin by saying that it is good to be back. The last six months have been a hot

mess. If the first half of 2020 received a letter grade from a teacher, it would have been an F,

written in bold, red letters. If we had to rank it on Amazon, it would receive one star for

poor performance. And if it was an Olympic gymnast, judges would award it

low marks for not sticking the landing. On top of everything else, plaguing 2020, we experienced

a family emergency. Most of you know my dad has dementia, and it's an awful disease that requires

full-time care for your loved ones as symptoms progress. And my sweet mother has been that person for my dad for

years. In early June, she tried to catch him when he was falling and she ended up in the hospital

with a shattered wrist. This resulted in surgery and a few metal plates and some pins and a declaration

from one of the doctors that my mother has the bones of a baby bird.

Awesome.

Circumstances forced us into making a gut-wrenching decision about Daddy's future care,

and we ultimately made the choice to place him in a memory care facility.

As a result, my heart is still hurting, but I'm back now, and my debut episode after a six-week hiatus is all about The Bachelorette.

Let me just say, these jokers were busy during my time away. Some guy and Austin and I break it all down for you.
