This is the 13th in the series, which is crazy to think about, but also perfectly normal since there are so many romantic comedies which deserve a deep dive, you know, from the 80s and 90s.

And anytime I get my mom and sister together, you know there's going to be a bunch of laughing,

especially when you're talking about a movie that has dirty in the title.

We are a family of dancers, so you can imagine when this movie trailer entered our lives, we

were hooked.

Baby is one listless summer away from the Peace Corps. Hoping to enjoy her youth while at last, she's disappointed when her summer

plans deposit her at a sleepy resort in the Catskills with her parents. Her luck turns out,

however, when the resort's dance instructor Johnny enlists Baby as his new partner and the two fall in love.

Baby's father forbids her from seeing Johnny, but she's determined to help him perform the last big dance of the summer.

Dirty dancing taught us to ignore all signs that read no guests allowed.

We learned that dance moves sometimes tickle, the best place to practice lifts is in the water,

and no one puts baby in a corner.

But most importantly, we learned to always carry a watermelon.

It could lead to great things like Johnny Castle.
