It's such a lazy take.

And I'm going to tell you why right now.

the top 100 football players for the upcoming season. We'll dive into that and how that impacts

Tennessee and second number two. But first, kind of the meat of this show, I wanted to discuss

how ignorance and how lazy the take is that everybody's just counting out Tennessee this year because oh, they don't have a quarterback, they don't have a quarterback, they don't have a quarterback. And again, we talk about this all the time. We do the majority of our shows over the quarterback conversation because again, that's the biggest deal with Tennessee football right now. And we talked about in the transfer portal, like, well, Tennessee's got to go get Sam Levitt, Tennessee's got to go get Sam Levitt, Tennessee's got to do everything they can to keep Joey Aguilar.

I mean, I said that countless times.

So I fall victim of it as well.

Don't get me wrong.

And I think in a perfect world, sure, you would have landed Sam Leavitt or Joey Aguilar's case would have gone a different way in court.

And you would have a veteran quarterback on roster this year.

So again, I think Josh Hebel wanted that. would have gone a different way in court, and you would have a veteran quarterback on roster this year.

So, again, I think Josh Heppel wanted that.

But still, when you look at the history with Josh Heiple with first year starting quarterbacks

or young starting quarterbacks, it's very, very good.

So the fact that everybody, you know, you can think down on Tennessee all you want. You can have Tennessee ranked in the back half of your FCC power rankings. You can have Tennessee outside the top of 25. That's fine. But if it's solely, oh, they don't have a quarterback, so I'm going to drop them down. Well, sure, you can drop them down a couple of pegs or two, but just to count them out because of no quarterback, that's an ignorant take.
