Hello and welcome to the IJN UK podcast, the show all about the latest video games, movies and TV shows. I am Simon Cardi, and this week. I'm joined by Matt Perslo. Hello. And Matt Jones. Hello, hello. Sorry, there wasn't an episode last week. I took a week off, believe it or not. So, yeah, they're just very busy times at the moment. I don't have people noticed there's about 16 games a week coming out that we have to cover. So little time when I'm not around to get the podcast done. But I'm not, I'm not angry. I hope no one else was angry. Did you get anyone angry at you? Anyone here? No one got angry? I wouldn so. No. Nothing came into the inbox and no one can get me on any social

platform because I haven't done any of that nonsense of putting my credit card in or whatever

you have to do these days. Well, I'll just never take a week off again. How about that?

Yeah, absolutely. If we can just grind you into dust. But I'm currently in the middle of moving house and I had a very cathartic clean out of about 200 DVDs and Blu-rays.

Like some of which I got, you know, 10p for online.

So, you know, I made like, you know, for about 150 to 200 DVDs, I probably made 60 quid,

which I can then what spend on two criterion collection editions.

What's your boxed up and send it off vendor of choice?

Oh, I went with World of Books.

I buy from World of Books. Well, there we go. I also sent off a few of my old Batman graphic novels. I'm never going to read it. And you get like four or five quid for some of those. Really funny to think you could have skipped the middleman on this one. You could have just sold directly to the source. No one wants my, like, I'm a cliche of a man. I've four, I had four different versions of the Godfather. I'd like DVD, special edition DVD, Blu-ray and 4K. So I was like, I'll get rid of all the ones that aren't the 4K. You know, so I'm going to keep it nice and clean for my new place. And like, just get really nice special editions of my favorite films. Like I just got the new limited edition 4K of the Florida Project,

which I know it's a film.

Me and Matt, we are huge fans of.

I know Sean Baker won like every Oscar in the world for an aura this year,

but I still think the Florida Project is his best film.

And yeah, if you love that film, I'd encourage anyone to get it it's

beautiful have some art cards has a little book it's lovely I do agree on this

some people go in for a red rocket some people like that I love red rocket I do like red rocket

I've seen all of his films I believe but yeah Florida Project number one thing I was gonna say

I agree on the slimming down but you know the one thing you can't do that with is I've had to keep my old Blu-Rays of Lord of the Rings because they don't put all of the, all of those documentaries they made for it. They're not on the 4K version. Really? Okay, that's good to know, because I've kept my 4Ks. And I think that, you know what, I don't know if I ever had the Blu-rays. I think I had the DVDs

and the 4Ks. Yeah. And I think that I've, you know, I don't
