Hello and welcome to the IGN UK podcast. I am Alex and this week I am joined by Mr

Simon Cardi. Hello, I'm I'm I'm guessing this week. No, it's not lovely. It is very lovely,

but our special guest is Matt Persley. And I special. Well, it's just why am I not special?

I only did it because you made such a deal of you guessing. That's why.

It's weird not so. It means I can relax and feel even looser than normal, which maybe that's

worrying for some people. I don't know. Don't be too loose. No, it's not on this podcast for an hour or

say. Yeah, you want to keep it tight. I don't want to. I don't want to melt.

How are you folks? It's been a while since I've been on this podcast. I mean, we have spoken since

you've been. Well, I know that. Yeah, which are coming to the broader public. I'm doing well,

is what great. I think that's all we're going to talk about in this podcast. It's pretty much all

films at the moment. Like so many good, well, just big films. You know, I don't want to be the

person who's like, oh, cinema's back. But you know, even if all these films aren't brilliant,

just so many like big films coming out like this month is ridiculous. Yeah, exciting.

I went to see the last film, or apart from Indiana Jones, which we're talking about in a minute.

The last film I went to see before that was Transformers Rise of the Beast. Oh, interesting.

Was that a good start to the to the summer of cinema? Well, it was a good in the fact that I managed

to get about half an hour's sleep in the middle of it. In a Transformers film. In a

trailer, it was loud. So we were seeing it in iMacs, but it had glasses on over my normal glasses.

And so Ed was watching it next to me. And he had no idea that I was asleep because I just had

double glasses. And you know what? I didn't miss anything. Obviously, I missed some action, but you

knew exactly where the story was going when I woke back up. So there we go. But yeah, some of the

films that we're going to talk about today will hopefully be a bit more exciting than that. And
