Hello and welcome to the IGN UK podcast. My name is Simon Cardi and I've got a very bad

cold. I'm joined by Matt Perslow. Hello, also known as Dale Driver. I was really hoping

Jesse would answer when I said that. And Jesse Gomez. I'm just me, I like to be me, so

I'm going to stick it like that.

If you do hear the other two calling me Joe all the way through, that's just a fun nickname

that we've got for me. Me, Simon Cardi, the guy who likes football and lies. This week

we are going to talk about a few games that we've been playing, but also at the end of the

episode, so is not to spoil anyone. We're going to have a discussion about Loki with full

spoilers up to the end of episode four, because we haven't touched on Loki for a little while,

and y'all know that we like. But before that, Jesse, you and I have both played a bit of

sea of thieves a pirate's life, which is, it sounds like it should be an oxymoron, because

it was already a game about a pirate's life. That basically just sounds like the subtitle

for the actual game. Yeah, but it is the Pirates of the Caribbean crossover that was announced

and released what, like, nine, nine days after announcement, or maybe even less. Yeah,

it came out really recently, didn't it? I don't know where I've got the nine days from.

Maybe it was really quick, but it came out early or late last month. Yeah, it was pretty

soon. How are you finding it? What have you done? I'm fairly new to sea of thieves. My partner

and I have been playing it, and the core game, we found it to be really, really fun. We played

again, kind of similar to it, a raft, and we'll just move for another co-op kind of sea-based

venture. So we jumped to sea of thieves, and we've been enjoying it, but we are joined a few

of her mates from work to play the first tall tales of a pirate's life. We were really,

really excited for what we've played so far, kind of left us feeling a little bit flat,
