| 1:40.0 | Great Recession, and some of the events since then, but what are they doing and how is that affecting the economy and the coronavirus and everything like that? |
| 1:50.0 | Boy, that's a good question. So the Fed has, for those of you who are not familiar with what we're talking about, what we're referring to is the Federal Reserve Bank. So this is the Central bank for the United States. |
| 2:04.0 | And in essence what they do is they are there to help stimulate the economy or |

| 2:12.0 | So their basic two rules are they want to create more jobs |
| 2:16.0 | and they want to they want to control inflation as best they can. So the way that |
| 2:20.3 | they do that is they use funds with the banks to try to create more money or |
| 2:27.4 | reduce money in the economy. |
