Every day that you're on this side of the dirt is awesome, but some days are cooler than others. And March 30th happens to be one of them. We always have an odd one in the crowd. So it's kind of odd. I'm excitedly odd. Isn't that strike you as a little bit odd? No, that doesn't strike me as a little bit odd. It's the Bob and Sherry Oddcast with stuff we wouldn't, couldn't,

or shouldn't do on the regular show.

Now, here's the odd cast.

When I woke up this morning and got my alerts, I was so excited because today is such

a special, special day.

I need you guys to understand.

I'll go, I'll start with one of the nerdier things that I think is really

cool that, um, on this day, the character of Batman was introduced to the world in a comic book.

Really? Yes. Is that? That's very cool. That's very cool. So do you know what year that was?

So, um, what's really interesting is he wasn't in his own comic book.

He appeared, the character of Batman appeared in a detective comic book.

So it wasn't like the launch of the Batman in history, right?

He was a character in this other comic book. And for some reason, the character, people just really bond it to it. And so

after that episode of, or not episode, how would you describe a comic book issue edition of

the comic book after that issue of the comic book came out people were like I really like this

Batman oh you should tell the Batman's story um and so Batman gradually became his own thing

but I think that is super duper duper cool.

And Max, to answer your question, it was 1939 that he first appeared as a character in this detective comic book.

Let me tell you another thing that is super duper cool for March 30th. So this would be the day that we saw the

Haley's Comet for the very first time. Oh, wow. Yeah. It was the very first recorded, and that was in

the year 240 BC, that the ancient people, 240 years before Christ, were like, take a look.

That is not normal.
