| 0:52.2 | what? I saw a bad marriage as I was growing up and I was affected by my |
| 0:56.1 | parents divorce. I don't want anything to do with marriage. All that I see |
| 1:00.7 | that all the time. Yes, because our parents' marriage is basically our |
| 1:06.8 | blueprint for marriage as we walk out of our home, our family of origin. And it's |
| 1:12.1 | always say it's the DNA of our relationships as we walk out. And so it's |
| 1:16.3 | important to step back and recognize our parents are human and they modeled |
| 1:22.8 | something that either worked or didn't work for them. And sometimes it's |
| 1:27.6 | dysfunctionally functional. And recognizing what do you want in marriage and |
| 1:33.0 | whatever you want become that. So set set yourself on that journey of continuing |
| 1:38.5 | to grow and become the spouse you're looking for. Because you're going to |
| 1:42.6 | attract somebody that is of equal help. And so if you are unhealthy, then it's |
