0:04.1	And the topic of today's newsletter is going to be, if you treat her like a celebrity,

0:10.6	Well, I've got an email from a viewer who is pretty new to my work.
0:15.7	So what's interesting about this email is you really get a good sense of how propaganda and the memes we see in the media, the narrative that's presented to us about how men and women are supposed to interact, which is obviously dysfunctional in the opposite way, opposite of reality and what women
0:40.2	naturally respond to.
0:42.0	And so this particular guy's problem is he's too nice.
0:45.4	You can tell he's a good dude or he seems like a good guy and he wants to do everything
0:51.2	right, but he's too nice, a little too much like a doormat.
0:56.6	And he definitely put this girl on a pedestal.
0:59.0	And he says some things to her, especially on the last date.
1:02.1	Like he's, you just imagine, he pulls into the driveway.
1:05.5	And then he asks her this question, I'm not going to, I'm going to wait till the end to reveal it.
1:09.7	And he could just see her interest just, whoo.
1:12.3	It's like all the blood drain away.
1:14.8	She just got completely turned off.
1:16.6	And then she sends him this email or this text, breaking it off with them,
1:21.5	telling him what a great guy and what a great catch he is,
1:23.7	and gives him this BS answer for why she doesn't want to continue seeing him when
1:29.4	it's pretty obvious it's really just romantic interests and this is one of the reasons why
1:34.0	men have such a hard time understanding women is because women don't want to hurt guys' feelings
1:40.8	and so to tell them an excuse that logically makes sense, but it's not
