There are countless issues that vie for our attention as Christians today.

The threats to the Church's spiritual vitality, theological health, and public witness are manifold,

and seemingly come from every direction.

But central to the Church's calling, especially for Christian parents,

is the task of

discipling the next generation, raising children who truly love God and neighbor.

And yet we live in a world that seems increasingly bent on thwarting this calling.

As Kevin DeYoung writes, here's the reality facing every Christian in the West. The money, power, and prestige

of the mainstream media, big-time sports, big business, big tech, and almost all the institutions

of education and entertainment are invested in making sin look normal. He continues, the world is

already busy promoting its catechism. The only question is whether

we will get busy promoting ours. In our interview today, I'm talking with Kevin about the catechetical

battle that we're all engaged in, whether we want to be or not, and how Christians, parents and non-parents

alike can help children to trust Jesus, be or not, and how Christians, parents and non-parents alike, can help

children to trust Jesus, embrace the Bible, and love others, even those with whom we disagree.
