Yeah, I want to thank everybody for their interest in my cup journey. Last week we did an episode called Be There In 40

ounces with my sister Kelly and while an alternate title considered was two girls one cup, I realized that was taken. I really, you know, was genuinely interested in how people slash consumers get so invested and how demand is harvested for what I would demon otherwise fairly commonplace item. But one of my incredible listeners, her name is Tate.

Tate promptly shipped me a Stanley adventure quencher 40 ounces for my own keeping its cream its stunning it's bigger than my head.

In the past two days I have been making it a goal to at least finish one full cup. And I know that like if I was following I don't know normal health and wellness guidelines I would be aren't

supposed to drink half your body weight announces or something. I'm, you know, I'm not a great water drinker and I am not always the best at getting around to doing that mostly because I just feel a little too full all the time when I have that much water sloshin

through me. I swear my body feels like a great wolf lodge. And no, I don't mean great wolf lodge in a sense of my body being like a reservoir of mostly bacteria and like floating bandits.

But I do mean that my body does feel like an indoor water park thanks to this unforeseen increased hydration. And thank you to Tate. Thank you to everyone for your support in my investigation of cup culture.

I will continue to report back so far so good. It's just it's a lot of water for me. And I had to laugh because on the packaging it says this cup is survived a 4000 foot drop from a plane.

It's like full. That's cool. But isn't that a weird thing to advertise assuming that this cup's value is like being sold with this copy to the owner of the cup.

And then but part of that expressed value is like if I fall out of a plane when I'm falling and it feels like flying to the bone crush and I kick the bucket.

Are they going to call my family and be like sorry Kate didn't make it but great news. You've officially inherited an adventure quencher.

I mean, hey, I don't know if you if you drop it off the Eiffel Tower and it survives sure it will knock out any passers by.

And while I feel sorry for the victims, they also maybe don't understand a similar perilous event which is having to buy an adventure quencher with that aftermarket eBay markup.

So I don't know you guys maybe maybe the 4000 foot drop does a value after all. It also says it's been run over by a tractor and even stopped a bullet.

Just like.

And this is a Wendy's I'm just looking for a place my liquids can call home. If it has installation a decent age back system hot or cold like that's awesome.

These are features I just do not need my cup to have. I'm really kind of I mean if I have had hopes of selling a cup in my merch store standards are a bit too high for me now to compete in this marketplace.

Anyway, guys, today we're going to talk about summer things I crowdsource stories about summer camp and suburban pool culture and just like I don't even know what's going to be out there. I'm going to read them out loud as I go through them. I'm so excited and I guess I'll start by like me using a little bit.

I think I haven't done a good old fashioned be there in five tangent a while which new listeners find manic but I feel at home when I just experiment and let myself talk for half hour and like see what happens.

I feel like these sorts of nostalgic topics are where I just hell spent with the excitement of thinking back on all the things that I feel are worth reminiscing and celebrating about life that make me feel comforted and the uncertain days of adulthood.

You know what I mean.
