Welcome to the Breakpoint podcast. I'm Shane Morris. I'm here with John Stone Street in our new

Q&A session answering questions that we get from you, our readers and listeners. And John, many of the

questions this week and in coming weeks, I think, came from the Colson Fellows during a webinar that we

had there. And, you know, the Colson Fellows, I like to think, are just the cream of the crop in a lot of different ways. And the questions seem to me seem to indicate that. They're incisive. They're helpful. They're probing. And they're really getting me to think about things that I haven't before and I need to think about. You really sound right now like you're bragging on your own kids, Shane. I mean, that's really what it sounds like.

I'm not at Colson-Pills instructor. It's completely disinterested, I assure you. I would brag on them. They're really a remarkable group. In fact, we just started this current class, which is our largest class ever, which is so exciting. Chuck really had this vision for a legacy of his being not just books and organizations like ours, but actually being

real people.

And so this program, which was started by Chuck under a different name called Centurions,

has just been a remarkable way to help Christians who are really thinking, look, it's time

for me to go deeper.

It's time for me to stop outsourcing my understanding and engagement with culture to the professionals, you know, at Focus on the

Family or the Colson Center or FRC or someplace like that, and to take seriously the local

call to be an agent of restoration. And it's been remarkable to see folks go through this program.

Some homeschool moms, some college presidents, some, you know, entrepreneurs and business leaders, some lawyers and so on. So anyway, we have a problem, though. The problem is we've got, first of all, a really inquisitive bunch of fellows who asked really, really good questions on the webinar last week. And the other problem is we have a lot of them. And so all together,

I think we left 40 or so questions on the table. And some of these questions, of course,

we'll get to as the program advances. This is a nine-month course of study. We actually

have affiliates in over 40 different states. We're actually almost 50 states, I think.

Some international affiliates, working with partners such as Alliance Defending Freedom International to have a group

of international fellows. We actually have a group, by the way, Shane, this past weekend I caught up

with our friend Billy Hutchinson over at Hickory Grove Christian School, which is out in North Carolina,

they have a group of high school seniors that they've hand selected.

It's kind of a pilot.

I probably shouldn't even be talking about this in case it all goes wrong.
