I was going to mix in a college football question, but the passion for this topic and look,

it's fans on both sides, but look, I've kept it open.

This whole topic started with, you know, not Tigers Lose again.

It was, okay, morning show got a few calls from fans that were Larry David, right? Spite Store. I hope they don't make it. I'm so angry at him and I'm so angry at Scott Harris. I hope they miss the bluffs. Those people were called losers. I don't think you're a loser if you feel that way. I think you want accountability and you know you're not going to get me. You're not going to have a new owner. You're not going to have a new president. You're not going to have a new manager. And you're just going to have this collapse. And it's the idea that they could trip into this wild card after blowing the two seat, after blowing the division, and it's a horrible division. And only because the Astros are so booty, you would creep in.

I don't think you're a loser for feeling that way.

On the flip side, I'm not angry at anybody who says, look, man, I've struggled for a long time with this team.

Any chance I get to make the playoffs, I'm going to take it.

We're trying to figure out where

you're at on the fan emotion scale. Sad, mad, apathy, full spite. So look, all opinions are valid here.

It's just, I think that trade deadline, and I, look, it's not a personal attack.

What you put out in the public is fair game.

I think there's a smarm quotient.

I think there's an aloofness about this team from the forward-facing members of the franchise,

and I think people are upset.

Nothing's going to get people angrier than smartest guy in the room.

Because it doesn't need to be that way.

But when you do that and then you go on the state run media podcast with your play-by-play guy

talking about how proud you are your team, you could get the paddock deal done.
